Buildings 3, 4, 5 & 6 St. Louis, Missouri
Just west of Busch Stadium, in downtown St.
Louis, Missouri, is an area containing several multi-story,
wood framed, brick buildings of historical significance,
which has been designated as the Cupples Station complex.
In the
late 1990’s several plans were considered for the renovation
of the complex. Conversion of one of the structures into
a Westin Hotel was one of the options selected.
ACME Erectors made a significant contribution
to the conversion when awarded a contract to perform
the structural wood timber repair of the facility. In addition,
ACME performed demolition, shoring, underpinning, foundations,
slabs, flooring, miscellaneous iron and structural support.
ACME’s contract for this work was in excess of $5
million.
