Multiple Projects St. Louis, Missouri
Mallinckrodt, a leader in the research and
production of advanced pharmaceuticals, and a wholey owned
subsidiary of Tyco, International, manufactures a wide range
of intermediate and finished pharmaceutical products and
medical
devices at its facilities spread throughout the world, including
St. Louis, Missouri. The St. Louis facility is the original
Mallinckrodt
chemical/pharmaceutical production facility and, as such,
has continually been modified and upgraded.
ACME Erectors has executed several projects
at the St. Louis plant, and due to the safety considerations
and hazards associated with construction in an operating
chemical facility, each one has been undertaken with a great
deal of
up-front planning and micro-management. Examples of projects
ACME has accomplished for Mallinckrodt include the installation
of several utility bridges, structural modifications and
seismic bracing in a number of production buildings, framing
of deck
and roof openings and structural modifications related to
regulatory compliance.
