Aquafina Bottle Line Project St. Louis, Missouri
Pepsi, Inc., one of the leading producers
of soft drinks in the United States, maintains a facility
in St. Louis, Missouri, to produce, bottle and distribute
its products. In addition to its regular line of soft drinks,
Pepsi produces
bottled water under the brand name of Aquafina.
Pepsi contracted with ACME Erectors to reconfigure
one of their production lines to bottle the product. ACME’s
scope of work was performed within the existing operating
facility, and involved relocating fillers, accumulators,
bottle conveyors, packaging equipment, case conveyors and
other equipment
associated with the new line. The bulk of the project was
accomplished during a shut down period and was completed
ahead of schedule.
