Candy Production Facility St. Louis, Missouri
International food producer, Nestle, through
U.S. subsidiary, Nestle, USA, purchased the former
Sunmark Candy Company in 1999. Several of the plants acquired
in the purchase from Sunmark are located in or near St. Louis,
Missouri and are primarily engaged in the production of candies
and taffies.
ACME Erectors has been a supplier of services
to both Nestle and its predecessor for many years.
ACME has provided support for both maintenance and capital
improvements. Examples of work includes
installation of mezzanines, both for pedestrians and equipment,
structural steel modifications and new installations, miscellaneous
iron framing for fans and roof openings, installation of
equipment
and the moving of production lines.
