Monsanto is a leading global provider of agricultural
products and integrated solutions that bring together chemicals,
seeds, and biotechnology to improve farm productivity and
food quality. They manufacture herbicides to control unwanted
plant development for farming and genetically altered seeds
that are resistant to disease and other influences, aimed
at improving the productivity of the farmer while protecting
the environment and reducing the end cost to the consumer.
On no fewer than ten occasions, Monsanto has turned to ACME
Erectors to assist in the solutions to its construction
challenges.
ACME has executed projects such as the installation of footings
and foundations, underpinning of existing buildings, shoring
and the installation of structural steel and miscellaneous
iron. While much of ACME’s work has been at Monsanto’s
Main Campus in Creve Coeur, Missouri, ACME has also executed
projects at Monsanto’s plants, such as the installation
of conveyors in Fort Madison, Iowa and the installation
of
miscellaneous iron at the EHL Research Facility in St. Louis,
Missouri.
