KV Pharmaceutical is one of America’s
best and fastest growing small pharmaceutical companies, as
ranked by Forbes and Business Week magazines. What began as
a company focused on contract production and research for
other pharmaceutical companies, has become a company that
produces specialty raw material product lines for the pharmaceutical,
nutritional and personal care market.
Many of the products manufactured by KV Pharmaceutical
require that the item be manufactured in a controlled environment.
When KV decided to build new production suites at its Earth
City Facility, ACME Erectors was chosen as the contractor
to make that installation. The unit itself consisted of approximately
nine thousand total square feet which was divided into fourteen
individual production units. Each unit was made of vinyl
and glass panel walls, epoxy flooring and FRP ceiling tile
panels.
Certain clean areas of the production suite had sealed tile
and special flooring. Upon completion of the suites, ACME
installed KV’s production equipment.
