Daimler-Chrysler
Multiple Projects
Fenton, Missouri

Daimler-Chrysler has two manufacturing plants located in Fenton, Missouri. Plant No. 1 manufactures the very popular Dodge mini-van and Plant No. 2 is dedicated to the manufacture of light trucks. The sprawling plant has existed since the 1950’s and covers more than 2,000 acres.

ACME Erectors has worked in the facility on several occasions, performing both equipment installations and general contracting. ACME served as general contractor for two projects, the remodel of the Control Room for Plant No. 1, and the installation of the CMM (Control Measurement Monitoring) Room, also for Plant No. 1.

ACME was also contracted for the installation of a major Pipe Support system for the plant. This project consisted of a number of steel structures, designed by EQE Engineers, to serve as support for numerous piping systems connecting locations throughout the facility. The bridging was over 600 feet in length.
