Ameren is a major power supplier to the St.
Louis metropolitan area. All work at Ameren's facilities
is
done under the National Maintenance Agreement.
Meramec Fly Ash Upgrade – At Ameren’s Meramec
Plant, ACME was awarded a contract for the installation and
modification of equipment for the Fly Ash Upgrade project.
This work consisted of the installation of new access platforms
in the existing fly ash building. Access was a major challenge
for this project since all steel and checker plate for the
upgrade had to be brought into the building through a mandoor,
located on an elevated platform, sixteen feet above ground
level entry.
